“I am an illustrator and research assistant in a neuroscience laboratory. I have always had one foot in the sciences and the other in visual arts, and this effort to metaphorically be in two places at once comes through in my work fairly frequently. I aim to create images that convey a sense that they belong to a larger overall story, with worldbuilding that is evident but not obvious or overexplained. I work in both traditional and digital media, often combining the two.

In addition to more traditional illustrations, I also create figures intended for scientific publication.”
